LA Sunset Again

Ok, so this post does not have to do with the current 3D project, but it does happen to do with a little something I am also very passionate about; Photography. Every now and then I will probably upload a favorite photo I take.

So the title was chosen for a couple different reasons, one because I am working on the sun model and took a screenshot of a short test sequence I did for it.  Secondly, because I watched the movie Sunshine over the weekend, great film.  Thirdly, those are some lyrics from an amazing song.

Website

I am working on obtaining the domain ’sleepycompany.com’, could happen soon, or it could take a couple months.  I don’t need another website right now, since I have this, but later on down the line I will most likely need a real website of some kind.  So knowing I have the rights to the domain name for now is just fine.  All it would do right now would be to redirect people to the blog, but I guess a little extra traffic couldn’t hurt…. .   

I’ll probably have a little something uploaded by the end of tonight.

Welcome

This is the production blog for Sleepy Company Studios. This blog will be updated with productions notes, updates, pictures, and anything else related to current productions.

Right now I am working on my senior thesis, so all updates for now will be centered around that.  It is going to be a 4 minute 3D animation exploring the many intricacies of nature.  There isn’t much to show right now, but I will have some renders up very soon, as well as preliminary models.  I will probably post the music for my piece in a week, so be sure to check back.
